one anal fissure It’s a small, paper-thin break in the skin of your anus that may be superficial or deep, depending on how long you’ve had it. A lot of times it’s hard to really see. For something that is usually so tiny, it causes horrible pain, probably the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. What causes anal fissure?
Anal fissures are caused by injury or trauma to the anal canal. This may happen in the following situations:
- You pass a large stool.
- You become constipated and try to pass hard stools.
- You have recurring diarrhea.
- Childbirth can cause injury to the anal canal.
Anal fissures can also be caused by rectal examination, anal intercourse, or foreign objects. In some cases, cracks may be caused by Crohn’s disease.
Many doctors believe that extra tension on the two muscle rings that control the anus may also be the cause of anal fissures.

- A skin tag or small patch of skin near a tear.
Daily routine to help heal my anal fissure.
- Take 1 scoop of olive oil, 2 dried apricots, DulcoEase Stool Softener, 30 softgels before bed
” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Dulco Ease pill (This can soften your stool, making it easier to pass) and a large glass of water, then go get a good night’s sleep. - When you wake up, drink a glass of warm water and take an ibuprofen tablet before going to the bathroom. Only go if you feel the urge. My GI doctor said not to sit for more than 3 minutes. If it doesn’t come, do something about it and come back when it comes more easily.
- When it finally arrives, there are a number of things you can do to ease the pain. The next little thing I did made a huge difference in my recovery time. Apply a little Vaseline before going to the toilet 100 grams of raw mineral Vaseline
” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Apply a little petroleum jelly pure petroleum jelly to the anal area and inside. This will help stool slide out more easily. - If the pain is still severe at first, take a hot bath right away for quick relief.

” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Sitz bath while sitting on the toilet. I can fill the toilet with warm water and sit on it for 10 minutes after having a bowel movement. Some people find it easier to have a bowel movement while sitting in warm water… because the heat relaxes the anal muscles. This can relieve pain but also helps clean the area. It is important that the area is kept very clean so it can heal. - When the pain subsides, continue your normal life.
